Spain’s Ministry of Health has announced that the country has registered 2,538 more Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the new total to 13,716.
Approximately 5,717 of those people infected have been hospitalised across Spain, with 774 of these patients now in intensive care. The current death toll stands at 558.
According to Fernando Simón, Spain’s Director of the Center for Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies of the Ministry of Health, “The number of cases will continue to increase for at least for the next 10-11 days, if not more.”
