Madrid has been the epicentre of the Coronavirus in Spain.

The community of Madrid is convinced that the number of coronavirus infections will stop growing around April 15, when the number of people discharged is expected to exceed the number of the new infected, according to the health Minister Enrique Ruiz Escudero.

Yesterday was the first day in Madrid without a coronavirus death since March 5. Madrid is one of the worst affected regions in Spain, and the number of infected people is now 4,165, including the President of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The death toll in Madrid is 213 people.

The isolation will slow down the outbreak, helping hospitals and health care workers to be able to better deal with the infected people needing care. In the metro in Madrid, the number of travellers fell by 75,3%.
