Provincial government financial package to help Costa Almeria councils to adopt coronavirus prevention measures

THE Diputacion de Almeria has announced a financial package to help provincial councils adopt measures aimed at preventing coronavirus.
The administration President Javier A. Garcia has extended the Emergency decree, with the consensus of all the political groups, with the aim of providing local authorities with the economic and logistic resources they need to adopt contention measures.
The Diputacion has also established systems to enable provincial government staff to work at home and introduced new preventative measures to guarantee employees’ safety and the functioning of the administration.
“The Diputacion is going to be at the municipalities’ sides and is going to provide the necessary means to they can adopt measures which stop the propagation of the virus between the population and which make society aware that we are not living through holidays and that they avoid leaving their homes unless it is strictly necessary”, Garcia said.
