NATIONAL Police have arrested a 22-year old in Almeria city for defying the state of emergency Government movement restrictions and going out for a bike ride, Spanish press reported.
The young man was reportedly detained at around 2pm today Sunday on charges of assaulting an officer after going into a Local Police officer during a chase along the provincial capital’s promenade.
The officer suffered a broken finger.
A National Police UPR Prevention and Reaction patrol had been on duty in the area and had approached the cyclist to remind him of the obligation to stay at home. He made off when they were in the process of identifying him.
