A DEAD dolphin with a broken jaw washed up on a beach in the Cabo de Gata natural park this week.
The Andalucia 112 emergency service alerted the Equinac marine life rescue association after a young man contacted the authorities about the sad find.
Equinac said the creature was extremely thin with signs of weakness. The association put forward the theory it had been unable to keep up with its pod, signs indicating that it had had an interaction with a group of bottle nosed dolphins.
