MORE news is now available about the exciting St Patrick’s Day celebrations on Saturday March 14 organised by the Irish Association of Spain in Benalmadena.

It kicks off at 12.30am with a short procession from the Arroyo de la Miel Renfe station to the Plaza de la Mezquita, just 300 metres away.

There is a promise of plenty of song, dance and the legendary black stuff and there will be appearances from Costa del Sol regular visitor and many times World Irish Dance Champion Gavin Shevlin who will appear on stage with another World Champion Tara Callaghan.

There is a bar which boasts the best Guinness in Spain (as well as lager for those who are faint hearted) as well as soft drinks and a selection of fine food.

Those who attend will have the chance to enter a draw to win a trip to Ireland.
