THE Marbella Fire Brigade was called out alongside the Guardia Civil Mountain Rescue Team when a report came in that a hiker had got into difficulties after climbing La Concha Mountain above Marbella.
It transpired that a Belgian man had lost his way whist trying to find the route back to Istan and had called for help.
Those involved in the rescue in the area of in the area of Monchalban had to tackle some sections by rappelling.
When they eventually found the man, he was uninjured and escorted to safety.
