TEULADA-MORAIRA town hall has weeded and cleared a plot of the Costa Blanca town’s municipally-owned l land in Calle Badajoz. Residents in the area had been asking the local government to take action for some time and the Environment department has now spent €3,200 on tidying the 5,000-square metre plot. Low-hanging branches have been pruned, undergrowth selectively cleared while exotic non-native species including agaves, yuccas and mimosa have been removed and shredded for compost.
