Cartama residents can renew DNI

RESIDENTS of Cartama will be able to carry out the issuance and renewal procedures of the DNI in the municipality at the end of this month. It is expected that from March 27 to 31, a mobile team of the Policía Nacional will travel to the town, specifically, to the Mayor’s Office of the Cartama, to conduct the processing of the DNI with the residents. The registration period will open on March 4, starting at 9:00 a.m.

Those interested must request an appointment in the Registro General del Ayuntamiento, in the Registro Auxiliar de la Tenencia de Alcaldía de Estaciónor in the Mayor’s Office, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Places are limited and all applicants will be informed in advance of the time in which they can carry out these renewal or expedition procedures. Each resident will be notified of two days, one to collect data and collect the required documentation and another for the delivery of the PIN for the use of the electronic signature and the new National Electronic Identity Document. For the issue of a DNI for the first time, people must provide: a photograph (with white background) birth certificate, registration certificate, and if of a young age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian provided with valid ID and pay an amount of €12. As for the renewals of the DNI, people must bring the expired ID and the renewal must be carried out within the last 180 days of validity.
