Search for missing pensioner with Alzheimer’s last seen in Costa Almeria’s Cabo de Gata natural park

A 75-YEAR old pensioner suffering from Alzheimer’s has gone missing in San Jose in the Cabo de Gata natural park.
Pedro Morales Sanchez was last seen on Saturday. He is described as 1.8 metres tall, thin, with short, straight grey hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue jersey, a red, white and blue checked shirt, chino trousers and a blue cap at the time of his disappearance.
On Sunday a search effort coordinated by the Guardia Civil, and including Local Police, dog teams, Civil Protection, the emergency services and a helicopter scoured San Jose town, the coast, roads, hiking routes and the countryside looking for traces of Pedro
The Guardia Civil has appealed the public to contact the emergency services on 062 or 112 if they have any information which could help find the pensioner.
