Costa Almeria Guardia Civil arrest Roquetas de Mar house burglars

THREE men suspected of breaking into four properties in Roquetas de Mar are under arrest.
Guardia Civil launched an investigation following reports from the owners of three homes located in the same area of the municipality.
A patrol arrested one of the suspects when they were checking out a fourth property on the back of a call to the force’s 062 line. Officers spotted an individual hiding between vehicles and detained him before he managed to get away.
The Guardia said he admitted breaking into the home and said he had had two accomplices.
Investigations put the trio at the scene of the crimes and one of the suspects in different second-hand shops offloading stolen items.
Among the items the thieves took were folding bikes, cameras, tools, a television, fishing equipment, homeware, a vacuum cleaner and an electric toothbrush.
