The campus of the University of Valencia in Gandía offers training in sign language and hotel management in Costa Blanca

Both courses are open to the general public.

The Gandía campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia has opened the registration for the courses ‘Introduction to sign language’ and ‘Practical training in hotel management. SIHOT ’software, which will be taught during the month of March on campus in the Costa Blanca.
The sign language initiation course is an initiative of the Vice-Rectorate for Social Responsibility and Cooperation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, in collaboration with the Association of deaf people of Gandía ‘La Safor’ (Apesorga). The registration costs 5 euros for the UPV community (students, staff and UPV Plus Alumni) and 10 euros for the external public.
Attendees of this course will be able to participate in brief communicative exchanges about daily life, learn about the culture and most important features of the deaf group and their situation in different areas, such as education, work life or social life. Classes are from March 6 to 27 and take place in 12 sessions of two hours, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
On the other hand, the hotel management course provides knowledge related to the use of SIHOT software and the management of reservations, billing, accounts, issuing invoices and daily auditing, among other key aspects of customer management in hotels and tourist accommodation companies.
This practical course is of special interest for students and graduates in Tourism or Dual Degree ADE and Tourism, and is open to other students with knowledge of office automation and tourism management. Classes are taught in four sessions from March 26 to 31. The registration fee is 30 euros for the UPV community and 50 euros for the general public.
