The Food Co. is fitting out a new store on the Fuengirola to Mijas road.
Britain’s largest supermarket, Tesco flung the doors open to its first shop on the Spanish mainland in Murcia a couple of months ago.
A firm with an exclusive licence to sell goods from Tesco on the Costa is fitting out a new store on the Fuengirola to Mijas road.
The Food Co. already has a supermarket in Portugal and Murcia and also plans to open in Gibraltar.
The fast-expanding chain was set up last year and states that it has 7,500 product lines, a mix of Tesco own brand and household names.
No opening date has been announced for the Mijas supermarket as of yet, but the plans have been put in place.
