TWO young muggers accused of robbing at least six people in Almeria of their mobile phones and valuables are under arrest.
Police said the 18- and 20 year old approached their targets, usually people around their own age, on the pretext of asking them for a euro. One would then grab the victim round the neck while the other searched among their clothing for anything worth stealing and grabbed any bags they were carrying.
The managed to get their hands on six smartphones, more than €100 in cash, and gold and silver jewellery.
Police identified the pair as N.L.L. and A.E.B., both of Moroccan origin. They are being held in prison awaiting trial.
