Four children at Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s primary school are in self-isolation due to the coronavirus after returning from a trip to northern Italy
Thomas’s Battersea school in southwest London where the Royal children attend has seen 4 pupils have coronavirus tests and they are staying at home as a precautionary measure.
The concerned parents and children are now awaiting the results whilst they stay away from the exclusive school.
A spokesman for Thomas’s Battersea said: “Like all schools we are taking the potential risks connected with the spread of COVID-19 very seriously”.
“And to this end are following government guidance to the letter around both prevention against infection and in dealing with cases where any staff or pupils are suspected of being exposed to the virus or who display any symptoms”
“We currently have a very small number of pupils who have been tested and these individuals are currently, as per government advice, remaining at home pending the receipt of their test results”
With half term just passed and at his time of year many children going on skiing trips and one popular destination is the slopes in Italy which has as a country had a severe outbreak with a super spreader still not located.
