Painting the Town Green for St Patrick’s Day on the Costa del Sol Spain

IT´S not just the Welsh community who are celebrating their own special day in Benalmadena as St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner with several days of festivities at the International Celtic Festival.

On Saturday March 14 from 7.30pm there´s A Night to Remember at the Moonlight Bar of the Sunset Beach Club with Irish dancers and singers travelling over from Ireland to offer a traditional concert including Drama and Ceili dance.

On Sunday there will be a mass celebrating St Patrick in English at 1.30pm at the Inmaculada Church near the railway station in Arroyo de la Miel.

On St Patrick´s Day itself, Tuesday March 27, the celebration moves to Church Square with entertainment from noon, followed by a Mass in Irish and English and 1.30pm and then there will be food, drink, music and fun until 6pm.
