Iran State Media announced that an aide to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died from the Coronavirus
Two people that have just returned from Italy and Tenerife have tested positive for coronavirus which brings the total number of UK cases to 15.
Professor Chris Witty, chief medical officer for England, confirmed the new cases saying the patients had been transferred to specialist NHS infection centres.
“The virus was passed on in Italy and Tenerife and the patients have been transferred to specialist NHS infection centres in Royal Liverpool Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital, London.”
