All eight defendants, within the age range of 16 and 61, deny Mr Bakers murder.

Paul Lewis QC, prosecuting told the Jury of six men and six women what staff at the terminal witnessed on the morning of August 28 last year.

“Harry Baker was lying face down on the ground. He had been repeatedly stabbed and his clothing had been stripped from his body”, he said.

“Harry was just 17 years old when he was brutally murdered, he was ruthlessly hunted down by people who were determined to find him.”

“The trade in drugs appears to lie at the heart of the case” said Mr. Lewis

The court heard that Harry, from Cardiff was staying with a friend in Barry.

“Harry was touting for business in Barry”, he said.

Prosecutors said Harry was sending out messages to advertise for customers.

the case is expected to last for six weeks.
