HOUSEBUYERS in the Balearic Islands typically need 16.4 years’ of salary to pay for an average property, according to a report by the Sociedad de Tasacion property evalution association.
This is nine years more than the national average.
The report put house price growth in the Balearics last year at 3.3 per cent.
