Masymas Supermarket expands its network on the Costa Blanca with three new openings, starting in Denia and Cartagena


The Masymas supermarket chain, owned by the firm of Pedreguer (Alicante) Juan Fornés Fornés SA, continues to expand its network of establishments in the Valencian Community, the Costa Blanca and the Region of Murcia. In this way, the company plans to make three new supermarket openings this year, two in Alicante and another in Murcia, according to sources from the chain.

The first two stores will open during the first half of 2020 in Denia and in Cartagena, where work has begun in the Santa Ana industrial estate.

This supermarket chain is the third in the Valencian Community by area and billing, after Mercadona and Consum. It earned a total of 302 million euros in 2019, 2.4% more than the 295 million euros of the previous year. Currently, Masymas has a network of 135 supermarkets, of which a dozen are located between Denia, Jávea and Pedreguer.
