AGE Support Almanzora volunteers are hoping for a sell-out at their 1920s-style ‘casino night’ fundraiser.
With half the tickets already sold it is looking good.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday March 28 at Harley’s Bar opposite the bowling alley in Arboleas, starting at 7pm.
Tickets priced €10 are available from the ASA shop near the Mercadona supermarket in Albox and from Harley’s Bar. Places can be reserved via the Facebook pages of Age Support Almanzora and ASA organiser Ellen Green.
Contraband will be providing the music with vocalist Claire Stoner, and there will be blackjack and roulette tables.
ASA organiser Ellen hopes people will go along in fancy dress as Gatsby, flappers and the like to add to the 1920s theme.
All the money raised goes to help the registered charity support the elderly in the area with advice, equipment, befriending and the lunch club.
