The city of Benidorm in the Costa Blanca has opened a new outdoor exhibition area on calle Puente, consisting of six backlit panels that now show old photographs of the area. The Councillor of Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, has explained that the lower area of the bridge is “a space that has proven to be an unbeatable canvas for outdoor exhibitions because of its location and layout, as has been proven in the three editions of Benidorm Expone”. This exhibition area has been inaugurated with a retrospective of Benidorm through six photographs of different authors showing urban landscapes and traditional scenes from the mid-twentieth century. In the near future, images of how the avenida Mediterráneo was and how it was built will also be displayed.
