Love Island have paid a tribute to Caroline Flack during tonight’s finale- after finally telling islanders about her tragic death.
Yesterday, the remaining couples were told off camera about her passing, after being kept in the dark since last weekend.
Tonight the live final, is hosted by Laura Whoitmore, and they paid a touching tribute to Caroline Flack.
A visibly emotional Laura read a brief tribute to her friend in the first part, explaining: ‘The past week has been extremely difficult coming to terms with the death of our friend and colleague Caroline.’
A reel of clips from Caroline’s time on the show, including her infamous slow motion walk, was then aired.
Caroline was found dead in her north London home on Saturday 15 February. A lawyer or Flack’s family said she had taken her own life.
