Evaluation flight carrying 32 British and European tourists lands in the UK after 20 day hell on Diamond Princess plague ship before two-week containment ordeal begins.

There were 79 UK nationals on the ship, however only 32 of them have flown back to Britain, and officials have revealed that some of them refused to get on the plane.

The plane took off from Japan yesterday with the passengers, British government workers and medical staff on board and landed in Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, this morning.

However before the plane took off, passengers signed a document confirming they would go into quarantine for 14 days at Arrowe Park Hospital in Merseyside.

Yesterday, Brits left the ship and were greeted by officials in hazmat suits and face masks at the port, two hours later than originally planned, and were then put on buses to take them to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.

On the fight passengers had in-flight entertainment with a blanket, pillow and two hot meals.
