Costa del Sol Samaritans

SAMARITANS IN SPAIN is an organisation operated by a group of volunteers who make themselves available by telephone to any English speaker across the whole of Spain and the Islands, of any age, who is experiencing emotional problems of any kind. It is based very on the established Samaritan model, which has been in operation in the UK since 1953 and which helped the setting up of the Spanish arm on the Costa Blanca.
Now there is a relatively new branch on the Costa del Sol which is based in Sotogrande, but covers much of the area up to Marbella and now has the recently constructed but still in its infancy Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SamaritansCostadelSol/
They run the telephone helpline 900 525 100 which is open from 10am to 10pm and are always looking for new volunteers who will be properly trained to help.
