The star gastronomic contest of Santa Pola will begin on February 28. In the eleventh edition of the Tapeix, 11 bars and restaurants from this coastal town will participate, offering ‘tapas’ made with fresh fish of the area.
Citizens and tourists are invited to this gastronomic festival that will last ten days. In this contest the chefs will highlight the importance of the culinary art of the Peix of Santa Pola, a tasty and intense flavour broth made with fish and seafood. The Fishermen’s Association of Santa Pola has yielded part of their fish catches so that the participating restaurants can prepare the dishes of this competition.
Attendees will vote on the tapas they like best. For only 2 euros you can participate in this initiative that aims to boost tourism and local cuisine.
