The end of February sees a busy musical weekend at the Salon Varieties in Fuengirola with celebrations of Fleetwood Mac and the vibrant voice of Wales’, Ricky Lavazza. On Friday, February 28 and Saturday, February 29 the six-piece multinational band with an exceptional female lead singer, Rumours, who were formed here on the Costa del Sol three years ago will be bringing their special live show dedicated to the music of Fleetwood Mac. Whilst many only came to like the band following the release of the Rumours album, they were a highly successful bunch of skilled blues musicians before they were joined by Christine Perfect, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

This show includes a selection of their hits over four decades including Albatross, Everywhere, Big Love, Go Your Own Way and Don’t Stop. Then on Sunday, March 1 it’s time for the annual St David’s Day Concert presented and organised by popular local singer Ricky Lavazza. Join him and a host of special guests as they celebrate the patron saint of Wales and all things Welsh. With a collection of traditional Welsh favourites and other uplifting and inspirational songs, a night of laughter and joy for all lovers of Wales’ musical heritage is guaranteed.
To purchase tickets for any of these exceptional concerts, visit www.salonvarietestheatre.com, call the Box Office on 952 474 542 between 11am and 2.30pm Monday to Saturday or one hour before any show.
