Arthur Karvink is the name of the Dutchman arrested for suspicion of murder and dumping his partners decapitated body in the rubbish bins, rolled up in carpet on Spain’s Costa Blanca.
Karvink before handing himself into the police yesterday ran the real estate business Brilliant Real Estate in Moraira, which he started in the town in 2016.
The confessing alleged murderer appears to have the cut the throat of his Romanian long term partner Alina Mocanu, 34.
The mother of one was found in the rubbish bins by bin men as they did their evening rounds on Monday evening collecting the area’s rubbish.
Karvink had a history of domestic violence and appeared before the courts in Benidorm previously for domestic violence offences but was on that occasion found not guilty.
Police are now searching both his apartment and business offices in search of the murder weapon and any other evidence despite having a full confession.
