Police DRONE finds missing blind man

Police drone finds missing blind man after he got lost in the woods overnight in freezing temperatures. 

The man spent 33 hours in the woods before being found by police drone on Saturday. The family contacted Enfield Police in Connecticut after he had not been seen in over 24 hours.

According to CNN the man is 62 year old Richard Doty, who Enfield police had issued a missing persons alert for on Saturday morning.

He spent the night in nine-degree temperatures and was taken to St Francis Hospital in Hartford as soon as they found him.

Duty’s brother contacted the police at around 8.43am on Saturday and neighbours confirmed they had not since him since Friday morning. They believe he left his home and became disorientated, a police drone was called in and mound after a 30 minute search.

According to reports, Doty had a history of walking away from his home and based on past behaviour, it was clear he had walked away and became disoriented.
