A MIDDLE-AGED man suspected of setting fire to 11 rubbish skips in Tijola in the early hours of Monday morning is under arrest.
Guardia Civil working in collaboration with Tijola Local Police detained 44-year old M.R.L. less than 12 hours after the trash bins were torched following a speedy and intense investigation to identify the perpetrator.
He faces charges of causing some €13,000 of damage to the skips and to the window of an uninhabited property.
