Showcasing Costa Blanca cuisine in Rojales gourmet event

ROJALES is set to be the place to be for foodies with a two-week event offering the opportunity to try some of the area’s best local cuisine.

Ten different restaurants are taking part in the ‘VIII Jornadas de la Cuchura’. Each is putting on a special menu featuring a main course of a hearty ‘spoon dish’.

Delicious choices will range from chicken casserole with meatballs and regional-style mountain stew to French beans with lobster, clams and crayfish or a classic rice option.

The gourmet event runs from next Monday February 24 to Friday March 6
