Staff members from a McColls store in Birmingham were threatened with a Taser and a knife as the shop was raided by robbers.
Cash and several items were taken from the store, as staff were repeatedly threatened with the deadly weapons. The incident took place on Friday, February 7 on High Street, Walsall Wood at approximately 8.30 pm.
No arrests have been made, however enquiries to trace the thieves have been taken place – according to a spokesman from the West Midlands Police.
“Some nasty sods just robbed a shop on the High Street,” they said. “I was walking passed and two men ran out at full speed and just disappeared. I didn’t think much of it but when I went inside the shop everyone looked horrified. Lets hope they are caught.”
It is not known if anyone was hurt during the robbery but a knife and Taser were used to threaten the members of staff.
