A MAN has been killed in Spain’s Barcelona after being brutally beaten in a mass brawl that brought horrific violence on to the streets.
As reported by the Mossos d’Esquadra police force, a fight broke out in the Nou Barris district at approximately 9.30pm last night, involving more than 50 people.
When the police arrived at the scene, the seriously injured man was being treated by paramedics from the Medical Emergency System (SEM). The victim, who suffered severe head injuries, was subsequently taken by ambulance to a hospital in Barcelona and placed in ICU. Sadly, he died a short time later.
As Euro Weekly News understands, a murder probe has been launched by the police to bring those responsible for the man’s death to justice. CCTV footage is currently being analysed and witness statements are being taken.
