One dead and seven seriously injured in horror collision between three cars in Spain’s Ávila

A WOMAN has died and seven people have been seriously injured in a horror car collision involving three cars in Spain’s Ávila.

As reported by the 112 emergency services, the crash took place at KM 264 on the N-110 in the municipality of La Serrada just before 5.30pm today (February 15). One car had veered off the road, crashing into two other cars travelling in the opposite direction.

As the incident was called in by multiple witnesses, officers from the Guardia Civil Traffic Unit, the Ávila Fire Bridge and an ambulance rushed to the busy highway, finding multiple people injured.

Paramedics attempted to save the life of a female driver, however, there was nothing that could be done and she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The seven injured individuals were transferred to the nearby Ávila Healthcare Complex.

As Euro Weekly News understands, an investigation has now been launched to determine the exact causes behind this tragic incident.
