FUENGIROLA’S Mayor Ana Mula announced on Tuesday that the town will extend its network of cycle lanes to the entire municipality to encourage the use of bicycles and personal mobility vehicles. She explained that in a first stage they signalled the main roads of the town and the Paseo Marítimo and now the neighbourhoods will be connected, creating a network where the bicycle will be the priority mode of transport.

Mula announced last year the implementation of the 2019-2023 mobility program, which includes a series of initiatives to facilitate and improve the internal communications of the area. Now, she has presented the complete network of cycle lanes, which will consist of a total of 25,000 metres.
