A COSTA Blanca PE teacher accused of sexually abusing pupils is facing a possible six years behind bars. The Public Prosecutor maintains the teacher touched the chest and buttocks of four children during the school day while working as a supply teacher in two secondary institutes in Villajoyosa and Callosa d’En Sarria in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 academic years. As well as six years jail time for continued sexual abuse of minors, the public prosecutor has called for a further 10 years’ on probation and has requested the teacher is banned from any profession which entails regular or direct contact with children for a period of 11 years.
