Spanish surf competition to visit Mazarron on the Costa Blanca

MAZARRON will host the beginning of the ‘Fesurfing Junior Series’ on February 15 and 16, as one of the scoring events of the Junior National Circuit of the Spanish Surfing Federation takes place on the Costa Blanca for the first time.

The event will take place on the beach of Junta de Los Mares, more popularly known as ‘Bahía Grande’ beach.

The participants will compete in the Sub 12 categories in mixed class and Sub 14, Sub 16 and Sub 18 in both male and female class. There will be nine events in total, each with 1000 points, which will be held on the coasts of Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Asturias, Galicia, Cantabria and Murcia.

The event will take place on the beach of Junta de Los Mares, more popularly known as ‘Bahía Grande’ beach, which stands out for having a sandy bottom with different breaks and a prolonged slope perfect for the creation of waves, ideal for surfing and competitions.
