Calpe’s nice little earners on the Costa Blanca

RECENTLY-RELEASED statistics from the Costa Blanca hoteliers’ association, Hosbec, reveal that Calpe leads in the tourist apartment sector.
The association’s Big Data Hosbec division announced that analysis of the Airbnb and HomeAway websites revealed that Calpe has the province’s largest number of tourist apartments after Alicante City. It also makes the most profit from rentals, with monthly earnings averaging €1,406, according to Hosbec.
Calpe is followed by Altea where tourist apartments earn their owners €1,294 a month and La Nucia with a monthly €1,250. Alfaz holiday rents are close behind at €1,123 a month. Hosbec also found that holiday apartment rental earnings dropped below the €1,000 mark in Benidorm at €970, followed by Alicante city (€967) and Finestrat (€966).
