Abandoned farmhouse wall collapse in Spain kills teenager

A 17-YEAR lost his life when part of the wall of an abandoned farmhouse in the Torreblanca district of Seville collapsed on top of him on Sunday night, the emergency services reported.

Witnesses called 112 to get help, reporting the teenager was trapped under the debris and was seriously injured.

A health emergency team rushed to the scene of the tragedy, but were unable to save the youngster and could only confirm his death.

The authorities have now opened an investigation into what caused the structure to come down.
