Government seek increased control of Spain’s Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan Airport

THE Government of Spain’s Balearic Islands has asked that they have greater control in decisions that affect Palma de Mallorca’s Son Sant Joan Airport and stated a claim for co-management. Spokesperson Pilar Costa stated that the government strongly rejects any expansion of the airport, although the airports authority Aena has not stated any intention to do so.
