ADRA’S Puente del Rio bridge is set to close to traffic to allow important renovations to be carried out. The council has announced the bridge will be cut off to vehicles on Monday February 17 for consolidation and extension works aimed at making the infrastructure safer, both for pedestrians and for the traffic which uses the road. The project includes widening the pavement and creating more space between pedestrians and vehicles. The surface will also be reinforced to improve safety and the aesthetics of the structure.
