Costa Blanca's Calpe beaches are level again

WORK continues on the La Fossa and Arenal-Bol beaches to erase the effects of last month’s storms. Bulldozers have been shifting and redistributing the sand that the battering waves built up on the shore, instead of waiting for the prevailing winds to push the sand towards the beaches’ interior once more.
Following a meeting with officials from the Valencia Tourist Board, the town hall announced that the foot-showers, walkways and other beach equipment that was affected by Storm Gloria will be replaced next month.
