THE Lions Club of La Cala de Mijas has donated €2500 to the Mijas Athletics Club for this season and become its main sponsor. The directors of the club welcomed members of the board of the Lions Club, who they have collaborated with for the last three years, to receive the cheque. “The Mijas Athletics Club grows every year and its athletes participate in different competitive levels, national, regional and local, this money will be used in areas, for which private collaboration is needed along with the support we receive from our club, the Mijas Sports Centre. We are very grateful,” said Enrique España, president of Friends of Athletics Mijas.
