THE Malaga region of La Axarquia will be on yellow alert this Wednesday due to coastal winds.
The weather forecast indicates that in the afternoon gusts will blow strongly in this part of the coast of the province of Malaga, which has led the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) to activate the yellow level warning (risk) for coastal phenomena.
Specifically, the alert will begin at 8pm this Wednesday and will remain active until 8am on Thursday, according to information collected by Aemet on its website. Winds from the east are expected at force 7 intervals, with waves between two and three meters high.
