Providing accessibility for all in Costa Blanca

NEW REGULATIONS: Accessibility in all public places.

Providing accessibility for allTEULADA town hall public works and infrastructure departments have started work on its Global Accessibility Plan. This will enable the municipality to respond to legal requirements by improving accessibility in public places.
“Given the complexity and specialisation that this work entails, and owing to the town hall’s lack of material means and sufficient personnel, it has been necessary to engage a specialist firm,” public works and infrastructure councillor Hector Morales explained.
These experts will draft a plan that can comply with accessibility regulations and improve conditions in commercial areas and local businesses while incorporating services and creating an innovative image for the municipality, Morales said.
The document must also incorporate the best way of obtaining European funds decedent on innovation, integration and improving quality of life for the local population. The draft, with a €17,545 budget, should be carried out within three months, the councillor added.
