Harry and his friends at Hogwarts School Credit: Esto es Troya Facebook
ONE of the great children’s literary phenomena of the late 20th century was the release of the first of the Harry Potter books.
Children (and many adults) loved them and with the release of the films, the history of the young magician was a worldwide success.
Local drama school IES Mar de Alborán and the theatre company Esto es Troya will be giving two performances of their version of the Harry Potter story on Friday February 7 at 6pm and 8pm at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel in Estepona.
Entry costs just €3 with all monies raised going at the request of the students to animal rescue centre Mirada Libre Estepona.
Whilst the play will be performed in Spanish, many children will know enough about the story to be able to follow what is happening on stage and will be fascinated as Harry and his friends fight evil.
