Costa Blanca News: New council office in Calpe’s Old Town

CALPE now has a council office in the Old Town. This is located in Calle Cervante, 24, although the entrance is in Plaza del Mosquit. It opens to the public each Wednesday, except fiesta days and national holidays, between 5pm and 7pm throughout February, March and April.
“This new office will bring us closer to the people who live in the Old Town so that we can hear about their requests and needs in an approachable and direct manner,” explained Pilar Cabrera, councillor for revitalising the Old Town.
“We are aware that most of the people living in this part of Calpe are elderly and could have problems getting to the town hall,” she said. Anybody requiring attention at the new office should first make an appointment in person at the Casa de Cultura offices, by ringing 965839123 between 8am and 2pm or emailing infocultura@ajcalp.es with a brief outline of the matter or problem.
