Easier beach access in Benidorm, Costa Blanca

RAMPS are being added to three Poniente beach accesses.
“The Paseo de Tamarindos promenade originally had steps down to the beach,” beaches councillor Monica Gomez explained.
“We have gradually replaced these steps with ramps and now we’re linking the promenade to the existing ramps.”
The ultimate aim is to make Benidorm entirely accessible, added Benidorm’s mayor Toni Perez said recently as he and Gomez visited the work in progress.
