TEULADA-MORAIRA schools recently observed Peace Day. More than 400 pupils at the San Vicente Ferrer infants’ and primary school celebrated the occasion in front of the town hall, accompanied by Teulada-Moraira’s mayor Rosa Vila and members of the municipal corporation. The children called for peace, stressing the need for schooling so that all children could have peaceable infancy. They also asked for more solidarity and an end to exclusion. In Moraira, pupils from the Cap d’Or school celebrated Peace Day with a charity race to commemorate a culture of non-violence, tolerance and solidarity.
