TWO performances of No+ Bullying were recently held at the Teulada-Moraira high school. Amin Saez’s production combines drama and dance to bring home the effects of bullying on its young victims. “Harassment exists in society as an invisible but deep-rooted phenomenon,” said Teulada-Moraira’s Youth councillor Aitor Llobell. “It is easy to encounter situations where people are ridiculed, scorned and isolated because of their appearance, religion or race. This scourge must be fought on different fronts,” he declared. Following the production’s success in Denia and other towns, his department decided to bring it to Teulada-Moraira, Llobell explained. “No+ Bullying is an entertaining but direct way of reaching young people, and its cast also included a young Teulada-Moraira dancer,” he said.
